VIVO Cafe Tasting Event
A bunch of Twitter friends got together on Friday night at VIVO Cafe in Sydney. Invited by owner Angela Vithoulkas, we arrived around 6pm and four hours later we had enjoyed over 20 courses! Fortunately they were share plates but I was still extremely full and stumbled out of the cafe with some take-home packs of leftovers and a lovely "showbag" with all sorts of goodies including freshly ground Di Bella coffee enjoyed again today. It was fantastic to catch up with Angela again, who was a great supporter of my Black Dog Ride last year (hosting my fundraising event at VIVO cafe)
We live in amazing times: a little activity (ok, maybe a lot in my case :-) on Twitter and some good old fashioned networking and you get invited to events like these with smart, lovely people. I am proud to know Angela and congratulate her and her team on building a great cafe business.

Here are highlights of all the amazing dishes we tried. My favourites: grilled haloumi & roast vegetable salad, wagyu beef burger, parmesan scrambled eggs, and the Vietnamese chicken salad. Nom!
